Discussion threads and the exchange of ideas. Also the opportunity to write my stories, even though I haven't written any new ones in the last two years or so. This is the only forum for which I've ever written creatively. The first spanking stories I ever wrote were the "Kelley and her Guardian" stories and I had never intended on posting them. I'm glad they were posted, though, because the feedback was very supportive and encouraging and I have the Assville community to thank for that.

To be honest, I don't read many stories here and that's mostly due to time constraints. But of the stories I *have* read, I have to say that my absolute favorite SSS author is Ashley Wright. I love the way her characters develop through the dialogue she uses. Her stories make me smile and sometimes outright laugh and for me anyway, its the mark of a truly well-written story.

Two other favorites: "The California DMV story" (and I don't remember who the author was, but it was a great story and posted a few years ago!) and "St. Adrian's", by Adrian.

Describe a favorite scene (real or imagined):
My favorite scenes include scolding! The spanking is only half of it for me, I need to be scolded and made to feel bad about what I'm being spanked for. "Naughty schoolgirl" or "chauvinistic husband spanks wife" are my favorites. I love it when Andrew spanks me with the slipper or cane, while he's scolding me because he has a wonderful British accent and if I close my eyes I can literally transport myself, to a private school scene or whatever scene we are creating.

Andrew and I met on alt.personals.spanking in August of 1996, and that is the greatest gift I have received from the on-line spanking community. Even though spanking brought us together, Andrew and I connect on many different levels and compliment each other's strengths and weaknesses. (And I think that is more important than any spanking desire we may share) We are getting married in April and couldn't be happier.

I guess I basically want to add another testimony of "found love" for those who are still looking for it. If you haven't found it, keep looking! I don't even recognize all the names that have compiled in my little black book over the years. (which either means I'm persistent or a whore, hopefully the former!) There's more to a lasting relationship than spanking, so if there's nothing to say to each other after the spanking gets old, move on!
